GURU WHO
Any thought coming from anywhere
if capable of provoking you or disturbing you or making you unsettled mentally
and
then in turn forces you to think/ponder over the existential questions like
who you are, where you are,why you are, etc. as is that has become a question of life and death for you,
then
understand that either the source (may be a person) is your Guru
or
the thought itself is your Guru (if you are sufficiently intelligent).

Coruuption
CORRUPTION
(Based on yesterday post and comments on my wall)--Worth Reading perhaps
What is corruption?
It means an action (based on selfish motivations, thoughts, emotions) which lacks moral integrity because it puts instant selfish motives in front of the culturally-held moral obligations, necessary for a long-term orderly and predictable social functioning.
Wants beyond the basic needs is 'Corruption'...!"
It seems to be a Generalised Obsessive Compulsive Acquisitive Disorder!
Is it an innate natural sense of inadequacy to be fulfilled through adding more and more stuff with the least expenditure of energy for immediate gratification?
This is a way of expressing the basic impulses deep within the organism.
Organically, it is termed an impulse, an urge, a need, which is mostly unconsciously driven. Mentally, it is termed a desire for more or a greed.
Does anyone want corruption? Perhaps no.
But why is it so rampant?
Should we not look for the root cause of the corruption before trying to eradicate this menace ?
Is this approach which is similar to Modern Medicine going to work?
Is it not true that every action start from thought?
The root of corruption must be then thought only.
And if it is so then the related thought must be corrupted.
What is that corrupted thought?
It is "To 'gain/have/achieve/get/acquire' maximum within minimum time with minimum effort and after having that not to part/share with anybody".
Is it not true?
The object to gain/have/achieve/get/acquire is immaterial or hardly matters.
This may be anything including abstracts/concepts like understanding, thoughts, informations, enlightenment, liberation, freedom, contentment, happiness, peace, calmness, God, etc.
Is this corrupted thought (To "gain/have/achieve/get/acquire" maximum in minimum time with minimum effort) not present in every human being living in the so called civilised society ?
Is the effort to maximise the profit in case of companies and other entities engaged in business not a symptom/proof of corruption ?
Has the situation not become such that the word corruption has got so much attention that even the thoughts of a person living in no the so called civilised society may get corrupted ?
See what went on the wall (Important points)
What is the root of the corrupted thought?
"Wants beyond the basic needs...!"
What if this is inbuilt within the brain system itself?
"Non-corruption is intrinsic and corruption is aquired through the culture...!"
Only modes of corrupt practices are learned, the seed is skin deep!
"Not even skin deep... Just make-up deep...!"
Culture is rooted in the activities of the mind, which is an offshoot of the brain. So if corruption is acquired from the culture, we need to go to the root of culture?
But is the same basic thing expressed differently. Its root is much deeper than the expression!
"Only man is the neurotic animal...!"
"Otherwise, why the police are not arresting the dogs those are raping in the streets...?"
Yes this is restricted to humans only. All other animals are out of purview of corruption.
Perhaps those animals who are having human touch have also become a little bit neurotic.
"Peace is not our basic need... It is our basic nature...!"
So the basic nature of the corrupt is peace!
What if selfishness is our crude basic nature and peace or love is our yet to manifest sublime core!

Root Cause
Is it not true that day by day we the humans are loosing respect to "life as such"
and
perhaps this loss is the root cause of all the problems the humans are facing today ?
In my opinion
our present education system for the children (up to the age of 15-20 yrs) is the root cause of "non-reflection or loss" of respect to life
because
no input whatsoever is given to the child so that child could develop a sense of belongingness to the nature which in turn may automatically develop the respect to "life as such".
Our present education system is based on anything other than life affirmative or developing respect to life.

Masters Purpose
The whole purpose of speaking of an awakened ones (Master/Guru) is to break the linear pattern of thinking i.e. logical way of thinking of the seekers.
Because this pattern (past-present-future ideas/concepts) of thinking which is basically happening due to habit/imitation (unconsciousness) is the hurdle in "SEEING THE THINGS AS IT IS" (which we call TRUTH).
While explaining the truth there is no way out for them, but to employ the language of Maya the seekers are also using.
How the Master will do is totally unpredictable, as they are not doing but happening through them out of compassion and the expression will be totally dependent upon their conditioning (training of the brain from childhood).
Language problem
I wish one day perhaps our languages will be in conformity with the facts of the nature i.e. "HAPPENING OF ALL THE ACTIONS ON THEIR OWN AS IT IS" !!!!!
Like eating is going on, speaking is going on,walking is going on,thinking is going on,listening is going on,feeling is going on,etc.
Perhaps the the so called Ego would be missing in presence of such languages.
HAPPENING OF CONFUSION IS REALLY A BLISS
HAPPENING OF CONFUSION IS REALLY A BLISS (Reposted)
Let me try to explain the above.
There are three types of people in the world.
1. Ignorant-
They are not confused at all and they think that whatsoever form is appearing in the field of sense organs is real. They have no idea that there exists some subtle reality also which is manifesting in different forms.
Majority falls in this category.
They are behaving as if they are meant for sense organs i.e. the sense organs are not meant for them.
They are continuously engaged in their (sense organs) service.
They are crowd i.e. totally unaware of intelligence they are carrying with.
They are fast asleep about their existence.
They are being used by the mind.
Remember Zen saying- At start of Meditation Mountain is mountain and river is river.
They have just heard from others about names of the things.
The names are nothing but concepts used to indicate something.
They are so stupid that they can even fight for these concepts.
They are attached to the concepts.
2. Confused-
They are very few in numbers.
They are confused because somehow they have started questioning existential questions like who are we, from where we come, where will we go, why are we, where are we etc., but are not getting clarity/answers.
They are running from one guru to another in order to get clarity/answers.
They are engaged in all sorts of gymnastics to "achieve/realize/find out/know" the answers.
Hence they are in utter confusion.
But they are not aware that this very confusion is going to give rise to the desired clarity.
"""This confusion is nothing less than bliss."""
""Blessed are those who are confused about their existence.""
Remember Zen saying- During the meditation mountain is not mountain and river is not river.
Because during meditation the macroscopic/gross reality starts vanishing slowly and somehow they are able to perceive the subtle reality.
In this state of confusion sometimes somehow in some unknown way they perceive the state of non attachment. Hence they are in utter confusion.
3. Natural -
After they (confused people) get tired of all these mantra japa, meditation, experiences, sadhna etc. somehow they come to the understanding (which happens on its own)about the futility of all these methods/ways of knowing the unknowable.
They realize that thoughts are impotent tools in this direction but tragedy is that we don’t have tools other than thoughts (mind).
This is the point of time where clarity downs upon them and they become established in their natural state.
This is the case of all enlightened masters.
Remember Zen saying- After Meditation Mountain is again mountain and river is again river.
These persons while talking they are bound to refer these concepts but from inside they are not attached to these concepts at all.
Now they start using the mind.
They understood that the names are nothing but concepts used to indicate something.
They can never fight for these concepts.
