Are We 100% Sure That All of Us Have Separate Existence In The Nature

Let us examine this issue.

Don’t think that I am suggesting that oneness/unitedness is the truth.

In order to prove that two things are separate two steps will have to be followed.

1. First step will be knowing/recognising the thing.

2. Second step will be comparing the outer and inner qualities of the gross body, its origin and dissolution , quantity, look(shape), functioning of various parts (outer and inner),etc.

Step-1 -- Knowing/recognizing:

Do we really know who we are? - Perhaps No

a) Are we body? - Perhaps No, because it is made up of food and this remains even after death.

b) Are we mind?- Perhaps No, because it is nothing but bundle of impressions of all the sensual

experiences we have. We can remain/exist without it e.g. in the case of sleep and unconsciousness,

comatose state.

It implies that we don’t know who we are as we have no other experiential informations about us other than the body and mind.

If we are neither body nor mind, then making comparison among us for the purpose of proving our separateness, is not possible at all.

Hence in this first step there is no way to prove that we are separate.

Step-2 ---- Still for the sake of further discussion for the time being let us imagine that we are body and mind and try to compare so that separateness can be proved.

1. Did we get conceived in different way other than combination of sperm and ova?-No

2. Did we grow in the womb in different way(process) ?-No

3. Did we come out from other than the womb(natural or caesarian –different issue)?-No

4. Are we growing (process as such) in different way ?-No

5. Are we going to die in different ways other than the so called consciousness leaving the body?-No

6. Are we breathing (process as such – oxygen needed to survive) differently?-No

7. Is sleep as such come to us differently ?-No

. Are all the internal bodily processes (as such) like digestion, beating of heart, functioning of kidney, etc. happening differently?-No

9. Are all of our motor organs like hands, legs, jaws, neck, etc. being used as such differently?-No

10. Are our all negative and positive actions, feelings, emotions etc. as such happening differently (results are different issue)?-No

11. Are our process of thinking as such happening differently ?-No

12. Is the process of origination of actions/reactions different for different persons?-No

13. Are we something other than bundle of energy/atoms/molecules/chemicals?-No- At the level of atoms and energy there does not remain even any difference among animate and inanimate. All are same.

14. As mind is all impressions of outside experiences, variations are bound to be there. Hence differences lies here if we consider ourselves mind.

From the above enquiry can it not be inferred that knowledge of separation is false, but appears to be existing only because of the differences in the impressions of experiences experienced i.e. mind which we are not. In stead of differences in fact there are similarities on all accounts.
