HAPPENING OF CONFUSION IS REALLY A BLISS

HAPPENING OF CONFUSION IS REALLY A BLISS (Reposted)

Let me try to explain the above.

There are three types of people in the world.

1. Ignorant-

They are not confused at all and they think that whatsoever form is appearing in the field of sense organs is real. They have no idea that there exists some subtle reality also which is manifesting in different forms.

Majority falls in this category.

They are behaving as if they are meant for sense organs i.e. the sense organs are not meant for them.

They are continuously engaged in their (sense organs) service.

They are crowd i.e. totally unaware of intelligence they are carrying with.

They are fast asleep about their existence.

They are being used by the mind.

Remember Zen saying- At start of Meditation Mountain is mountain and river is river.

They have just heard from others about names of the things.

The names are nothing but concepts used to indicate something.

They are so stupid that they can even fight for these concepts.

They are attached to the concepts.

2. Confused-

They are very few in numbers.

They are confused because somehow they have started questioning existential questions like who are we, from where we come, where will we go, why are we, where are we etc., but are not getting clarity/answers.

They are running from one guru to another in order to get clarity/answers.

They are engaged in all sorts of gymnastics to "achieve/realize/find out/know" the answers.

Hence they are in utter confusion.

But they are not aware that this very confusion is going to give rise to the desired clarity.

"""This confusion is nothing less than bliss."""

""Blessed are those who are confused about their existence.""

Remember Zen saying- During the meditation mountain is not mountain and river is not river.

Because during meditation the macroscopic/gross reality starts vanishing slowly and somehow they are able to perceive the subtle reality.

In this state of confusion sometimes somehow in some unknown way they perceive the state of non attachment. Hence they are in utter confusion.

3. Natural -

After they (confused people) get tired of all these mantra japa, meditation, experiences, sadhna etc. somehow they come to the understanding (which happens on its own)about the futility of all these methods/ways of knowing the unknowable.

They realize that thoughts are impotent tools in this direction but tragedy is that we don’t have tools other than thoughts (mind).

This is the point of time where clarity downs upon them and they become established in their natural state.

This is the case of all enlightened masters.

Remember Zen saying- After Meditation Mountain is again mountain and river is again river.

These persons while talking they are bound to refer these concepts but from inside they are not attached to these concepts at all.

Now they start using the mind.

They understood that the names are nothing but concepts used to indicate something.

They can never fight for these concepts.
