The scriptures have nothing to do with the body because the body is already living(if at all) in the moment i.e. it is already free from all concepts. It has nothing to do with world,spiritualism,scriptures,great sayings,Gods, etc.
Further the body is already dead from the point of view that it is made up of food which is dead as per human's definition. It appears to be live, again as per human's definition( due to its internal/external movements).
All (scriptures) of them including great sayings are meant ( for so called mind which exists because of non-enquiry) to make the person realise that he is already free from the grip of mind/ego/time. He does not realise because of misunderstanding/non-understanding which is there because of not being aware about the things which are as it should be.
