KEEP IT IN MIND WHILE INTERPRETING THE SCRIPTURES

KEEP IT IN MIND WHILE INTERPRETING THE SCRIPTURES

It is not expected that the interpretations of any single sutra/sloka given by various persons are going to match in toto.

But that interpretation among the all interpretations is going to prevail which is in conformity of most of the natural laws in force and the evidences are supporting that interpretation. This interpretation is going to prevail so long as the next interpretation does not come into picture which is more in conformity with natural laws in force and is supported by more no. of evidences compared to the prevailing one.

If your interpretation of any sutra/sloka of any scripture is such that it cannot be understood by a simple ordinary human being, understand that your complete understanding of that sutra/sloka has still not happened in you.

Further understand that you are still not competent enough of "reading in between the words or lines" which is the foremost requirement before one starts expressing his/her own interpretation which makes sense.

If the interpretation seems not in conformity with the established natural laws in force (logic and evidence supported) directly or indirectly, "put your interpretation on hold for the time being" and "continue your contemplation/effort in order to increase the level of understanding required to clearly understand the sutra/sloka."

If the situation demands/requires make changes in meaning of the words/phrases used, so that your interpretation/understanding finds itself in conformity with the contemporary natural laws in force.

There is no harm in it as "there is no guarantee" that what we are reading in the scriptures are not the modified ones i.e. they are original ones.
