Thinking and Intelligence

Thinking is arduous as it requires application of a lot of intelligence while imitation is very easy as no intelligence is required at all for imitating.

A child imitating in his/her childhood can be understood as that makes sense because without this he/she cannot learn. This is just like installation of operating system in the computer. "But its continuation for the whole life does not make sense."

All the practices being done without application of mind i.e. without getting convinced from the core of heart, are nothing but imitations for which belief is the basic reason. In what garb they are being done is immaterial.
